This short documentary explores the importance of the arts scene in the Southwest against a backdrop of funding cuts. We spoke to a variety of those within the industry as well as a member of the council who highlighted the life-changing impacts of cultural events and creative initiatives on the disadvantaged children they work with. Our project seeks to highlight the real-world consequences of tightening financial support for the arts, and what this might mean for individuals, employment, and the future of creativity in the UK.
